Queue by QR and cafe menu — no app required

Pagefold now has niche modules: an electronic queue with a link ticket and a QR cafe menu. Salons stay clean — modules appear when you need them.

A salon needs booking. A cafe needs a phone menu. A pickup desk needs a queue without paper tickets. One dashboard should not show everything on day one.

We added vertical modules: electronic queue and QR menu. They stay off for a beauty salon by default and appear when the niche or you turn them on.

Electronic queue

A guest opens a link or scans a QR code, takes a digital ticket, and sees their number and an ETA. Staff run a queue board in the dashboard: who to call next, who is done.

It fits places where timed booking is awkward: walk-ins, pickup, express services. A salon with a booking journal does not need it — and the item stays out of the menu until you enable it.

QR menu for cafes

For coffee shops and restaurants — a menu by QR: dishes, categories, updates without reprinting. Guests open a link on their phone; the kitchen and floor use the current list from the dashboard.

If the business is a cafe (or you enable the module), QR menu appears in the sidebar. A regular salon does not see it — the menu stays free of tools from other niches.

How “by niche” works

A new cabinet starts with the core: website, booking, leads, clients, reviews, loyalty. Verticals — queue, QR menu, quotes, repairs, order tracker, retail — turn on when:

  1. the business category matches (cafe → menu, property management → repairs, fitness → group classes);
  2. you use the module for the first time;
  3. you enable it manually when you actually need it.

So a salon owner does not see Retail or Queue on day one, while a cafe gets its tools right away.

How to try

  1. Open the dashboard.
  2. If the module is already in the menu — open Queue or QR menu and set up the guest link.
  3. If it is missing — message support chat on the site and we will enable it for your niche.
